ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Lidia Ferrer Sciacovelli is half Spanish, half Italian. She was born in Mallorca, grew up between there and Rome, and has been a little restless ever since.

She started her first company, Correcto, at seventeen. It went on to be valued at over $30 million and named one of Forbes' top ten startups in Spain. She later earned a double degree in Law and Business from IE University in Madrid, where she was named to the Nova 111 list of Spain's most promising students, and then moved to Miami for an MBA. She still lives there.

These days she runs PLZ Health, a wellness brand for women rebuilding their relationship with their bodies, their health, and their confidence. She's the first to admit she built it from the inside out.

Heartbreak was the one thing she couldn't build her way through. So she wrote The Gold Flags of Heartbreak while getting over a broken heart of her own. It worked. She thought it might work for you too.
